Head Over Heels cheerleading club of Deansboro is expanding to a new building.
The club, owned and operated by Erin Glazier, is having a Grand Opening at its new facility Sunday, Aug. 4 from 4 to 7 p.m.
Head Over Heels is moving into a new building on West Hughes Road in Deansboro on the MKJ Farm.
The farm was recently purchased by Dan Williams of Deansboro.
The venue is the home of the Barden Mudfest and for the past few years, the CNY Irish Festival. It’s also used for private events.
Festivities include Scars N' Stripes performing from 4 to 7 p.m., Clinton Chamber of Commerce conducting a ribbon cutting and food and beverage trucks.
Other activities will be balloon animals and face painting for kids, basket raffles, lotto tree and tours of the new gym.
Ray Brothers BBQ is selling a chicken barbecue with pre- orders available through Glazier and the Marshall Mavericks Facebook page.
Glazier said the organization ran out of room at its original location on Skyline Drive next to Co- Movement Gym.
Head Over Heels offers tumbling classes, competitive cheerleading and an after- school movement program.
The cheerleading squads travel around the Northeast for competitions, often claiming first prize.
