Mount Markham student Cole Piechowicz took these photos of the Gingerbread House contest at the West Winfield Holiday Celebration last month.

Participants could use the kits and anything else available at the firehouse to decorate their structure.

These are some of the more creative entries.

The event, sponsored by the Village of West Winfield, wrapped up a year of community activities put together for people to enjoy.
