Sue Carney works in her garden on Fairgrounds Road across from Mount Markham Middle School. Carney, a retired second grade teacher in the Mount Markham Central School District, has 20 to 25 varieties of flowers in her front garden. This year she extended the area to put in rock paths and create an English cottage garden. She offers free bouquets to anyone who wants to stop by. More photos, Page 6
