Game Store

A ribbon-cutting Friday morning marked the opening of HobbyTown in Clinton in the Dollar General Plaza. Clinton Chamber of Commerce President Karen Ostinett, Clinton Mayor Elizabeth Tantillo, Chamber Executive Director Molly Marris and owners Kim Miller and husband Mike Gordon did the honors as about 25 people waited to see the store. HobbyTown specializes in radio-controlled cars, boats and planes, educational toys, paints and tools and accessories needed for almost any hobby. Miller grew up near Clinton and said she’s happy to be returning home. An activity room is planned to host events for Magic the Gathering, Dungeons & Dragons, Warhammer 40K, Gundam Model Build Days and Boardgame nights. The store is open Mondays through Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
