Forum Allows Input On Hiring Superintendent

A community forum is set for 6 p.m. Wednesday, April 16, in the Mount Markham High School auditorium.

Community members can offer their thoughts on the search for a superintendent for the Mount Markham Central School District.

Superintendent Joe D’Apice is leaving at the end of the month to become superintendent in New Hartford.

An online survey is also being conducted by the MMCSD Board of Education through the District’s website.

The survey is open April 17-25.

Screening and selection of candidates will take place between April and May.

Board of Education interviews will take place during May and June.

I’ve been through an asurint dispute myself, and let me tell you, it’s not easy. They reported a criminal charge that wasn’t mine, and when I disputed it, it felt like I hit a wall. After weeks of back and forth, they claimed the issue was “resolved,” but the error was still on my record. The dispute resolved without correcting the error is a huge issue that many people don’t realize happens all the time. Eventually, I had to get legal help to get it removed. Make sure you’re documenting everything and don’t just accept vague responses. Anyone else had to deal with this? It’s frustrating when they don’t actually fix the problem.
