Jeffrey Salamone, son of Joseph and Kristin Salamone of Schuyler, has achieved Scouting's highest rank, that of Eagle Scout.
Salamone is also the grandson of John and Linda Salamone of West Winfield.
Salamone, 18, was a member of Frankfort Boy Scout Troop 1, under the leadership of Scoutmaster David Wittner. Salamone started his scouting career in the pilot program for Lion Pride at 5 years old with Frankfort Pack 30, and continued through Cub Scouting to achieve the highest award, the Arrow of Light.
