DRI List Takes Shape

After a month of detailed review of 47 projects the Clinton Kirkland Downtown Revitalization Initiative committee is close to settling on the final list.

The fourth public meeting of the committee spent most of the time reviewing each project with a determination by committee members whether to include it on the list. By mid-next month the list must be submitted to Gov. Kathy Hochul, who will make the final selection.

Although the DRI grant provides for $9.7 million to be spent on projects, consultant Lisa Nagle said the list to the governor should be around $15...
