Four people are running for the two seats on the Mount Markham Board of Education up for election next month.
Current Board members Philip Casler and Robert Cross filed petitions to seek another three-year term. Also running are Eugene Doremus and Kathryn Terns.
The election of Board members and the District’s proposed budget is Tuesday, May 17 with voting from 1 to 8 p.m. at the Elementary School cafeteria.
The Star has reached out to all four with questions to be published in the May 11 edition to help voters decide.
Two three-year terms are on the ballot for the Richfield Springs Board of Education. Incumbent Tom Shypski is running, as is Rebecca Marzeski. Board member Tony Bailey is not running for another term.
