The Town of Columbia Board met Feb. 12.
Fees taken in through the Town Clerk’s Office in January resulted in a payment of $5,132 to the Town.
Highway Superintendent Justin Davis provided quotes received for a new sweeper that would replace the 1987 sweeper.
The 2025 Western Star is being upfitted in Rochester and will be on site in the Spring. Davis and Board members discussed new Utica Mack trucks.
Town Clerk Eric Gloo said handicap parking permits are now called Disability Parking permits.
Building and zoning permits were submitted to the Town for a new private school on McKoons Road.
Codes Officer Ray Donley is reviewing them.
Planning Board chairperson Barbara Warner-Davis reported the Board had a pre-application meeting with Scott Olson, attorney for the proposed Jordanville Road cell tower.
The Planning Board asked for assistance from Town Attorney Christopher Bray as the project progresses.
