Three Clinton High School seniors signed their Letters of Intent to play college athletics last week on the first day they could officially commit. Katie Stockwell will play field hockey for the University of Vermont, Mesafint Ellingson will play soccer at the University of Rhode Island and Maddie Luke will play soccer at Bryant University. Also signing but unable to attend was Riley Jones, who will play soccer at New Jersey Institute of Technology. Stockwell is the daughter of Adam and Emily Stockwell, and Ellingson the son of Stephen Ellingson and Jennifer DeWeerth. Luke’s family who came to watch were dad Kyle Luke, siblings Paige, Ryan, Maxwell and Ella, and grandparents Linda and Allen Edick.
