Two former Clinton Central School ice hockey players from the Class of 2020, St. John Fisher University juniors Antonio Femia and Joshua Wightman-Trask, helped the Cardinals win the 2023 AAU college hockey National Championship as a college club team. Femia scored a goal in the 8-1 win over Farmingdale State in the title game, and had goals in the quarterfinal and semifinal games. Trask, goalie for the team, had a shutout in the opening game of the National Tournament. In the league championship game prior to Nationals, Femia scored the winning goal and was named Most Valuable Player vs. the University of Rochester.
