On Nov. 18, the Clark Mills Strong Coalition hosted a media event to publicize its progress towards its goal of raising $50,000 for a generator and other vital equipment needed by the Clark Mills Fire Department.
They celebrated the receipt of $15,000 in donations (nearly a third of their goal).
The Coalition is comprised of the Clark Mills Fire Department, the Clark Mills American Legion Post 26, the Sons of the American Legion, the Clark Mills Legion Auxiliary, the Clark Mills Historical Society, the Clark Mills Senior Center, the Clark Mills United Methodist Church, the Volunteer Public Workers and the Clinton Kirkland Improvement Corporation.
