Ceremony Will Mark Sept. 11

The Clinton Fire Department will lead a ceremony to remember the victims of Sept. 11.


At 5 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 11, the fire department will gather with members of Clinton Central School and the community to honor those who lost their lives Sept. 11, 2001.


Among those are Edward Felt, a graduate of Clinton Central School.


The ceremony will include reading of names, music and speeches.


Clinton Fire Department will help first responders afflicted with a life-threatening illness by donating the proceeds of their Sept. 22 chicken barbecue to Believe 271.


The organization provides financial support to first responders in Oneida and Herkimer counties with an illness that is life-threatening.


The barbecue will be sold at Clinton Firehouse 1 on Park Row starting at noon. Cost is $15.
