On a beautiful day of sunshine and warm temperatures, hundreds of people attended the first annual Fall Festival in West Winfield at the Winfield Memorial Park.
The event was sponsored by the Village of West Winfield and Town of Winfield.
A row of vendors offered all sorts of treasures, while the small pavilion was a “Everything is Free’ Zone featuring apples, cider, baked goods, fried dough, nachos, pretzels, and other food. Food trucks sold a variety of items for those still hungry.
Games for kids earned them tickets for prizes, while the VFW tested the strength of everyone brave enough to try a pullup or two or more.
Music filled the air and the large indoor pavilion remained packed with people sitting down to eat and watch the fun.
The West Winfield Fire Department brought a truck for kids to explore and a firefighter jacket and helmet to try on.
We took a lot of photos, so check out our Facebook page and future editions of the Star for more looks at the fun.
