This Fall Mount Markham High School students and staff participated in Red Ribbon Week. The 2022 theme was Celebrate Life, Live Drug Free and activities were coordinated through Heather Maley, Prevention Services Coordinator with the Catholic Charities of Herkimer County/Herkimer County Prevention Council. Students in Courtney Moores' health classes held a poster contest. Students also signed the Red Ribbon Pledge to grow up Safe, Healthy and Drug free by understanding the dangers of drug use and abuse, respecting themselves and being drug free and spreading the word to family and friends about the importance of being healthy and drug free.
