Cornell Cooperative Extension of Herkimer County announced the promotion of Jennifer Collins to the position of Association Issue Leader/Assistant Director.

Collins, who lives on the family farm in Waterville, is a respected leader within the Cornell Cooperative Extension system and has served the youth of Herkimer County for 28 years, particularly through her work in youth development.

Her contributions to the 4-H program have earned recognition not only across New York state.

Most recently, she was selected as a planner for the 2027 National 4-H Conference in Buffalo.

To further strengthen her capacity in these areas, Collins recently earned a Master of Science degree in Food and Agribusiness from SUNY Morrisville.
