Busy Weekend In Richfield Springs

Two annual events are taking place this weekend in Richfield Springs.


Drop A Line For Bass For Cash


The Richfield Springs Community Center’s Annual Bass Tournament is Saturday, July 19 rain or shine, at the Canadarago Lake Boat Launch, on 135 Dennison Rd., just off US Route 28.


Registration is from 5:30 to 7 a.m.


Fishing will be from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.


Weigh in is at 1:30 p.m.


A free lunch will follow weigh in for all anglers as well as for all sponsors.


Fee is $30 per person, $20 per person for 12 and under.

Cash prizes this year total $1,000 and will go to the top three boats (total bag weight) and heaviest lunker.


There is a limit of three bass per boat.


Cash prize sponsors are: Andela Products, Bello Electric and Excavating, Bohling’s Auto Service, James Jordan Associates, Architects and JC Bait and Tackle.


There will be a 50/50 raffle, a beer basket raffle and door prizes of fishing related items.


Co-sponsors of this year’s Bass Tournament are Clinton Tractor & Implement Co., Clinton and G Tech Marine, Richfield Springs.


Sundae Run On Sunday


The Richfield Springs Community Center’s 23rd Annual RSCC Sundae Run and

Walk is Sunday, July 20 beginning at the Richfield Springs Veterans Club Pavilion, 13 Lake St.


It is sanctioned by the Route 20 Series Road Challenge and is part of the summer series. Categories include a 5K, 10K, and 2-mile walk.

Pre-registration closes July 17 at midnight.


Participants may also register race day from 7 to 8 a.m.


Race start time is 8:30 a.m. Stewart’s Shops is the exclusive Corporate Sponsor of the 23rd Annual Sundae Run and Walk, along with over 40 individuals and area businesses.


Free Stewarts’ make your own ice cream sundaes to be enjoyed by all in attendance.
