Brookfield Class Of 2026


Brookfield Central School’s Class of 2026 launched their next steps into the world with a commencement filled with tears, laughs and lots of memories.


Ten seniors had the spotlight shine on them last Thursday night during their graduation ceremony in the gym.


They marched in one at a time after the faculty entered the room to the sounds of applause and cheers.


Graduate Kylie Smith led the audience in the Pledge of Allegiance before Principal Colleen Rutherford welcomed everyone.


Senior Class Advisor Andrew Long said the graduates had taught him numerous traits, including maturity, kindness, honesty and positivity.


Then for each one, he singled out something he learned. From Caden Mayne, good humor.


Conner Cook, be a man of few words. Nathan Tanney has a curiosity second to none.


Mackenzie Bugbee showed how to be an exemplary student and leader.


Thatcher Bugbee displayed hard work and stick to itivness.


“It will be difficult not to see you walk these halls,’’ Long said.


Salutatorian Sydney Bonafield said in the last 13 years the class had participated in numerous events.
