Blessing Of The Animals

On a warm, sunny afternoon Sunday, Oct. 5 in honor of St. Francis churches in Clinton had another ecumenical Blessing of the Animals on the Village Green.
About a dozen people plus their companions (principally dogs and a few cats) attended.
The event also collected pet food and donations for pet food for The Country Pantry because people who need food have animal companions who need food.
Clergy who participated: the Rev. Doctor Joanna Benskin (St. James Episcopal Church), the Rev. Janet Griffiths (LutheranCare chaplain), and Pastor Scott Leonard (Stone Presbyterian Church).
