The First Baptist Church of Brookfield has scheduled a donation dinner to help a local family with medical expenses.
The church will have a drive-thru chicken and biscuit dinner Sunday, Dec. 12 starting at 4 p.m. Cost is by donation with all proceeds to help Steve Cucci and his family.
Steve, his wife LeeAnn and children Kylee and Anthony are involved in the community through sports and other activities; Steve is involved in Brookfield Little League as a coach.
He recently returned home after a month in hospital care due to an infection. He is on antibiotics and other care to lessen the infection and other complications from recent surgery.
To make a donation without attending the dinner, checks can be sent to First Baptist Church in care of the Cucci family, P.O. Box 6, Brookfield, NY 13314.
