Assemblyman Will Run Again

Assemblyman Brian Miller (R,C-New Hartford) announced he is running for re-election to the New York State Assembly, representing the 122nd Assembly District, which includes communities across Herkimer, Madison, Oneida and Otsego counties.


“I care about policy, I care about this district, and I want to continue serving the people who sent me to Albany. Over the last nine years, I’ve focused on practical issues like infrastructure, education, supporting local business, public safety, and making state government more responsive,” Miller said.


“As I enter my tenth year in the Assembly, I want to continue that work and build on the time and relationships I’ve built to continue to deliver for this district. From transportation policy to public safety and constituent services, I’m committed to continuing that work for the communities I represent,” Miller said.


In 2025, he was appointed Chairman of the Minority Conference Steering Committee and Minority Ranking Member of the Assembly Transportation Committee, giving him a stronger platform to advocate for safer roads and smarter infrastructure investments across Upstate New York.


He joined colleagues and local highway superintendents in calling for a $250 million increase in CHIPS funding to address the growing gap in local road and bridge maintenance, as municipalities are responsible for maintaining 87 percent of the state’s roadways.
