25 Years Later, We Remember

Led by the West Winfield Fire Department, the West Winfield American Legion and West Winfield VFW Post, the community gathered the evening of Sept. 11 to remember those who lost their lives that day 25 years ago in the terrorist attacks.

The event included music, tributes to first responders and law enforcement personnel and a dramatic reenactment of that day and what followed by members of the Mount Markham High School Speech and Debate Club.

Last Friday was spent around the country remembering the events of Sept. 11, 2001 and those who died, those who stepped in to help with loss of their own lives, and those who continue to guard our country and its freedoms.
