Because of Covid-19 restrictions still in place, the Town of Marshall Zoning Board of Appeals had to cancel a hearing this week regarding mining in the town.
ZBA Chairman Maryanne Marsh said the hearing to address an appeal by Eric Schachtler on a Stop Work order by the Town will be rescheduled. While meetings can be conducted under social distance limitations, public hearings cannot be done at this time in New York state.
Meetings that did take place last week, either in person or remotely, were Clinton School Board, Town of Kirkland and Brookfield School Board.
Clinton also had a Meet the Candidates forum for the three members running for the three board seats.
