Village of Clinton residents will have a choice of two of three candidates in this month’s elections.
Village elections will be Wednesday, March 18 in all local villages. In Waterville and Oriskany Falls two people are running for the two seats on each ballot.
Clinton has three candidates for the two spots on the Clinton Village Board. The two people chosen as trustees will each serve two years.
Current trustees Thomas Firsching and Carrie Evans are both running for re-election. Challenger Richard Heintz II is also seeking one of the positions.
In Waterville Brian Bogan is running for re-election to the Waterville Village Board. James Younes, former mayor, is running for the seat being vacated by Trustee Doug Plourde.
Village Justice Robert McNamara is running unopposed.
In Oriskany Falls Trustee Doug Smorol is running for one of the two-year seats. Jean White is the other candidate running for the position vacated by Joanna Eisenhut.
