In their only game last week, the Waterville girls varsity basketball team went to Sherburne-Earlville and came home with a 56-45 win.
Freshman Natalee Collins scored a career-high 18 points, with junior Janelle Cleary also in double figures with 15. Cleary’s tally included four 3-pointers.
Collins also made the game her first double-double on varsity with 16 rebounds. Laney Hinman had a solid night with 7 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists.
The Waterville junior varsity team earned its first win, 37-18.
