Waterville Girls Soccer Wins 12-2


A scheduling oddity kept the Waterville girls varsity soccer team out of play for over a week.

They made up for lost time at Morrisville-Eaton Saturday morning.

The Indians improved to 8 wins and a tie with a 12-2 pasting of the Warriors. Two players - Anna Beach and Taylor Hajdasz - had hat tricks and overall the Indians took almost 40 shots on goal in the game.

Hajdasz scored her three goals early on as the Indians took an 8-1 halftime lead. Beach had all three of her goals in the second half. Brianne Barnes and Julia Carter both scored twice, while Ella Hutchins and Megan Wittenbeck both had goals.

Carter and Janelle Cleary assisted twice, while Hutchins and Beach each had an assist.

While Waterville had just a few players on the bench, the home team had none. When one of theirs went out of the game late with an injury, Waterville coach…
