Wild animals, vintage cars and music bring on the 14th annual Cruise In to Waterville celebration this Saturday.
What started as a way to say Waterville businesses were still up and running during the time of reconstruction of Route 12 and downtown continues as a fall community celebration that brings people from all over. Many of them come to participate in the Car Show at Waterville Residential Care Center.
The show, sponsored by TBC Contracting in memory of Marty Malone, is run by the Waterville Rotary Club. Admission is free.
If vintage motorcycles or tractors have appeal as well, the tractors will be near the Firemen’s Pavilion and motorcycles lined up near the entrance to the nursing home.
The morning starts with a run for those inclined to work up an appetite, or breakfast for those who wake up with one. Or, run then swing by the Firemen’s Pavilion for breakfast cooked by the Sanger Lodge from 7 to 10 a.m.
