Henry Dynka, district manager for the U.S. Postal Service’s Albany region, congratulates Steve Cleary for his Million Mile Safe Driver Award. Cleary, who has worked 33 years for the Waterville Post Office, drives Rural Route 1, having taken over from his father, Martin Cleary. Dynka said the commendation is not commonly given. Waterville Postmaster Maureen Wratten said Cleary knows the people along his route and has never had an accident during his years of driving.
