Waterville Public Library invited people to officially start summer with their annual Summer Solstice party. Musician Nick Piccininni played a variety of instruments, even venturing out into the crowd while doing so. Kids played games, with Maddox Barth finding fun just carrying the chalk bucket around. The Mohawk Valley Astronomical Club brought out the big guns for night-time viewing of Jupiter.
