When she ran a small antiques shop, Cindy Majka was asked if she wanted to join a club.
“I thought they said Jesters,’’ Majka said, “some sort of comedy thing. I said no.’’
About five years ago she was asked to join again. This time, she had a question. “I said, what is Questers? When they told me, I realized all those years before I heard it wrong.’’
The retired history teacher said yes to joining the Clinton-based School Town Questers organization. As the club celebrates its 60th anniversary next week, Majka does so as its next president.
