The Clinton Village Board last week decided to fund more changes to the ongoing water improvement project.
Mayor Steve Bellona told the board members during a special meeting last week that Engineer Tim O’Hara had outlined various scenarios to continue to update the aging and small water lines. Improvements involve closing loops where the system dead-ends, changing 4-inch and 6-inch pipes to 8-inch pipes for better flow and making better connections to the wellheads in case of an emergency situation that requires water.
