A clay target shooting club that about 50 Waterville High School students are interested in creating has received opposition from some WCS Board of Education members.
Teacher Jon Krawiec, who has volunteered to be the advisor in the first year of the club, outlined the plan at last week’s BOE meeting. Because board members Russell Stewart and Steve Turner were absent, the board put off any decisions on allowing the club until all seven members can take part in the discussion.
