Thumb’s Up For All School Budgets

All area school budgets met with voter approval last week, as did a change in how the Kirkland Town Library is funded.

Budgets passed in Clinton 727-154, Waterville 216-56, Brookfield 89-21 and Madison 83-23.

Clinton’s ballot included the question of switching the KTL’s budget from the Town of Kirkland’s funding to being funded by taxpayers in the Clinton Central School District. That passed 714-176.
