In state Supreme Court, the decision was made that the Town of Brookfield, not the neighboring land owner, owns the property in dispute for the last five years.
At last week’s Brookfield Town Board meeting, Supervisor Loren Corbin read the ruling made by Justice Don Cerio in April. The ruling solves the dispute between the Town and bar owner Frank Kabana Jr. over property between the bar and the Town Hall.
