At a groundbreaking last week at Hale Transportation in Clinton, owner Steve Hale and employees joined Berkshire Bank and Small Business Administration representatives in starting the $2 million expansion project on Kirkland Avenue. About 20 jobs will be created during construction and after, when Hale’s can do on-site DOT bus inspections and provide a washing system for buses and large vehicles.
