The 10 members of the Special Olympics skating team in the Clinton Figure Skating Club have been rehearsing for their performance in the Club’s upcoming Fantasy On Ice show April 5, 6 and 7 at the Clinton Arena. During the season the team competed at the Special Olympics Winter Games in Rochester, earning a number of medals. Coached by Amy Lloyd for the last three years, the team’s ages range from 9 to 66. Started in 2007 with two skaters, this year’s team features the largest group ever. Fantasy On Ice, with this year’s theme ‘It Takes A Village’ in honor of Hockeyville, has shows at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday and at 1 p.m. Sunday.
