With the town’s Highway Department way over budget in some areas for 2018, the Brookfield Town Board moved money into those accounts at its meeting last week.
In his first meeting as town supervisor since being appointed, Loren Corbin told the board and 20 people at the meeting it had been a busy 11 days. Much of his time was taken up with balancing accounts in last year’s Highway Department budget for equipment purchases, he said.
