After years of hearing complaints from Berrill Avenue residents about a condemned and abandoned property, last week the Waterville Village Board agreed to move forward with demolishing the building.
Through a grant from Oneida County of $8,000, 107 Berrill Ave. - the first house on the left off of Route 315 - will get knocked down by the City of Utica’s crew. The village will pay for the up to $19,000 more of the cost, which could be less through a Shared Services agreement with the city and if the job takes less than five days.
