When she graduated from Waterville Central School in 1989, Jennifer Sabol leaned toward a career in science.
She had, she said, an exceptionally good teacher at WCS for chemistry and physics. She also called him Dad.
Andrew Sabol, now retired, taught those classes at the high school. “He made science interesting and now I’m teaching just as he did,’’ said Dr. Sabol, recently promoted to the rank of Colonel in the U.S. Army.
Her parents, Andrew and Vicki, brother Jeff, husband Chris and son Harrison celebrated the new title and her new role as the Commander of the U.S. Army Dental Laboratory at Fort Gordon, Ga. earlier this fall.
