State Sen. Dave Valesky visited the Clinton Farmers Market last week. He planned a stop at the Clinton Arena, where he helped secure state funding for the new chiller that helps make possible the Sept. 25 pre-season NHL game. He also visited Knoxboro to discuss assistance with flooding issues. Norwich residents Patricia and Scott Card made a visit to the Market and won the $10 From the Times thanks to Patricia’s maroon shirt with the word ‘Love’ on it. They had pizza from Gypsy Girl and planned to use the $10 for fresh vegetables to bring home. Scott played youth hockey in Clinton and enjoyed a trip back to the area.
