Waterville Invites COCVAC To Meeting About Service

August 28, 2018

To get a better understanding of the emergency ambulance service provided by Central Oneida County Volunteer Ambulance Corp, the Village of Waterville will invited the agency to a meeting in September.

At last week’s Village Board meeting, board members said they have heard concerns raised about response time and where patients can go. The matter came up at the board’s first meeting in August.

Waterville Fire Chief Will Beach said he has heard that COCVAC will have an EMT in the Deansboro substation from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Fridays. If no driver is available from Deansboro, one will come from Clark Mills to join the EMT at the scene.
