Oriskany Falls Mayor Steve Jeffers said work is progressing on cleaning up the site of the former Mill, which burned in a December 2015 fire.
The Environmental Protection Agency has secured the perimeter of the facility to reduce trespassing on the property. A site assessment is being conducted to determine whether there is asbestos in the debris and if there are other hazardous substances present at the site.
