John Taibi, noted railroad expert, will be the first speaker in the 2018 programs of Limestone Ridge Historical Society.
He will begin his presentation after a brief business meeting of the society Tuesday, March 27 at 7 p.m.
Taibi, a true railroad buff, lives in a former depot which he has remodeled. He has written several books on the railroads of Central New York. He will talk specifically about the O&W which ran through Oriskany Falls until 1957.
The meeting and program are free and the public is welcome. Light refreshments will be served. The society is at 223 Main St., Oriskany Falls. Parking is available in back of the building.
