Work Continues On Bisby Hall

The Village of West Winfield Board met Monday evening to discuss new business.


The Board approved resolutions to pay the Village bills, and accept the November meeting minutes and treasurer's report into records.


Board member Sandy Smith reported the Williamson software update is going well thanks to the help of Town of Winfield Boardmember Sue Korosec.


A sickness going through the Village's DPW has hindered their ability to set up decorations around the Village. Village of West Winfield Mayor Jim Thomson said the Department is dealing with other pressing matters currently. A complaint was received by a resident about the manger not being set up.


A thank you note was given to the Village from Prices for a paving job.


The Board held a discussion about the best areas to install Sterts adapters for fire hydrants around the Village.


Thomson was asked by a resident if the Village had an extra fire hydrant in case of an emergency replacement. The Village does have a surplus hydrant.


Smith said she would like to keep Codes Officer Mike Connors up-to-date on the Bisby Hall renovations to make sure they are compliant with current codes…
