Passed resolutions and updates on area recreational facilities were the highlights at last Monday’s Town of Kirkland Board meeting.
After passing the meeting notes from the board’s Oct. 27 meeting—with an amendment on a misspelled name—the resolution to accept the 2022 Animal Control agreement with the New Hartford Police Department was passed.
The agreement didn’t change from last year.
Next on the agenda was to vote on the resolution to authorize the budget director to appropriate funds received from Federal Emergency Management Agency.
That resolution passed. The FEMA funding partially reimburses the town for damages from the flooding in Clinton and Kirkland Halloween 2019. Repairs…
