Winfield Sets Trash Day

The Town of Winfield Board met Wednesday evening to discuss new business.


The General and Highway Abstracts were approved following review.


The Supervisor's and Clerk’s reports were approved.


The July meeting notes were approved following discussion of the interpretation of a public comment.


The Board received a presentation about their Insurance Adjustment from year to year. This year's claim added new items because of the playground equipment and the salt shed.


The new title for the Mack Truck is still being procured.


Town of Winfield Supervisor Bud Osborn said he started the budget process.


The one applicant for the Planning Board Chair will be asked to take the seat once the Town Board brings the recommendation for opinion to the Planning Board.


The Board approved a resolution to install a meter on the electric car charging station at the Town Garage.


Fall Trash Day is scheduled for Sept. 25. There will be no paper shredding for this session.


The Board held a discussion over installing security cameras in Winfield Memorial Park. Boardmember Jay Kulczak found a quote from a security company for a state-of-the-art camera system.


The Board tabled action on the item until a future meeting.


The next Town of Winfield Board meeting is scheduled for Sept. 15 at 7 p.m.
