Winfield Opens Town Park

The Town of Winfield Board met Tuesday night to discuss new business.

Jacob Kulczak spoke to the Board about the work he's doing updating the Town website.

He asked the Board to contact him with any requested updates.

The Board held a short discussion with Kulczak about his compensation rate.

A resident met with the Board to ask if their approval to volunteer at the Park is still active.

Reservations for the Park can be made through Town Clerk Terri Atwell.

Employee Ryan Leuthauser said the security camera system is installed at the Town Park.

Attorney Chris Baiamonte met with the Board to discuss the progress of the Solar Project.

Baiamonte said the Community Host Benefit Agreement was signed and executed with the Town receiving a payment of $11,000 per megawatt.

If the project is not completed by 18 months from the beginning of construction, the company will have to redo the application process.

The project was sold to True Green Capital Management LLC.

The final terms of the decommissioning agreement and decommissioning bond are still under discussion.
