WEB EXCLUSIVE: Did Our Cameras Spot You at the 2021 Clinton Shoppers' Stroll?

It was a weekend of smiles, shopping and snow. The annual Clinton Shoppers’ Stroll took place Nov. 26 and 27 in and around the Village Green. The first day of the two-day event featured horse-and-wagon rides, Pack the Pantry Bus, caroling by the Clinton High School Chamber Singers, and, of course, shopping at locally owned businesses. The first night of the Stroll concluded with the reading of ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas by Scott Leonard, a greeting from Mayor Elizabeth Tantillo, the tree-lighting ceremony and a parade that featured an airplane and Santa, Mrs. Claus and the Grinch. Day two of the Shoppers’ Stroll kicked off with the annual 5K Jingle Jog. Sydney Evans of Clinton sang the National Anthem before the run. In addition to shopping, the second day had a warm-up station by a fire pit, carriage rides and concluded with a concert by Darryl Hahn at the Kirkland Art Center. Other Clinton organizations were open to the public during the Shoppers’ Stroll, including the new Clinton Fire Department Museum and the Clinton Historical Society. The Stroll is one of the biggest events the Clinton Chamber of Commerce sponsors.
