At a short special meeting of the Waterville Board of Education, the District approved a new Transportation Supervisor.
Board members met to conduct business Aug. 30 before going into executive session for a Board retreat.
WCS Transportation Head Mechanic Ethan Ostrander was approved for a leave of absence from that position to take over as Transportation Supervisor to fill a vacancy.
Board members also approved the resignation request of Megan Clapp, confidential secretary to the High School principal. Amy Clark and Justina Vandermark were hired as school monitors.
