Water System In Bridgewater Needs Repair Of A Leak

The Town of Bridgewater Board met Thursday evening to discuss new business.

The Board held a discussion about a permit issuance for a pool. Codes Enforcement Officer Pat Baron said he issued a specific variance on the permit because of previous cases where he saw issues in similar projects.


Water Department Supervisor Jerry Parry said there's a leak in the master water system and a check of the system was needed. The Board pointed out water bills had risen 50%.


The Planning Board has finished the paperwork for the subdivision on Mapledale Road.


The Board approved a resolution to change health insurance from Excellus to MVP.


The Board approved a resolution accepting the energy benchmarking requirement with Mohawk Valley Edge.


A water pump in one of the Highway Department's trucks needs to be replaced. The Highway Department needs to buy more sand for winter.


A dead tree in a driveway was removed by the Town.
